You don’t have to give up your vehicle’s style just to haul gear. This hitch stays completely hidden when you’re not towing, and the 2" receiver detaches and pops out by hand. It locks in with a solid click when you need it and disappears when you’re done. The design keeps the bumper untouched, so from the back it’s like there’s no hitch at all.
Whether it’s bikes, a small trailer, or a cargo basket, this hitch is built for it. It’s a Class III setup rated for 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight. That means plenty of capacity for light towing and gear carriers without stressing the vehicle. The safety chain loops are tucked up out of sight but still easy to reach when hooking up.
When it’s time to tow, you don’t need wrenches or pins rolling around in the garage. The receiver slides in vertically and locks with a key—no extra tools or bolts needed. Pop it out just as easily when finished, then cover the opening with the included plug to keep out dirt and road grime.
The hitch body is made from black powder-coated steel that stands up to rust and road wear. It weighs 45 lbs and is built to handle regular use in all conditions. A one-year warranty backs it up for extra peace of mind.

So far so good. It fit my vehicle as advertised using the pre-drilled/factory installed mounting brackets. And it is much less visible/obtrusive than others I have used in the past. But I would note that the installer, who is a superb mechanic, did say he had to really mangle/bend back the factory heat shield to get it into proper position, and it does block my "open the tailgate with a foot wave under the bumper" feature, which I personally never use anyway.

I recently installed the Oris removable trailer hitch on my 2019 Volvo XC60 R-Design T5, and I couldn’t be more impressed. This hitch is everything I was looking for—clean, solid, and incredibly well-engineered.

Well made hitch. Fits well and the installation video made it very simple to install. If you're not going to use the chain rings its not really necessary to cut the fascia like in the installation video, you can just tuck the corner a little back and it fits fine.
This is now my 4th hitch I have installed. Unfortunately the Draw - Tite Max is no longer available which was a nice hitch on a Volvo XC90. Although the Oris is a good quality hitch, it is considerably more in price and and protrudes beyond the bumper more than it really should. The receiver also is out further causing me to lengthen the safety chains on the 4 x 7 trailer.
Hitch installation was a breeze on my 2026 Volvo XC60. Note: there were 2 electrical connectors and its best to have two people when removing the bumper so as not to drop and scratch it. My only issue is removing the key after removing the receiver, it's near impossible
Dang! Snazzy! We have a xc90 Recharge 2025.5 The hitch was installed by a professional shop. I was worried about any play or spacing in the detachable system, however it's super snug and with a Kuat bike rack installed, It's rock solid! Excellent product, very impressed so far.
